Campus K is a K-12 progressive school that is actively using innovation to power the pursuit of knowledge. Bringing in ancient wisdom with the ingenuity of technology and the expertise of academicians and child development psychologists, Campus K provides an educational ecosystem that fosters the next generation of leaders. Each student is taught in a manner that prepares them for the real world.
The Campus K edge gives the students a step-up by overcoming the challenges posed by traditional formats of regimented teaching. Campus K will follow the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) board, commonly known as IGCSE, along with the principles laid out by Project Based Learning and Personalised Learning Plans to ensure that every student thrives to the best of their ability.

Personalised Learning Plans (PLP)
At Campus K, we believe that each child is unique and learns in their own distinct way. We are inspired by the guiding philosophy of ‘Personalised Learning’ for future leaders. Personalisation helps address each student as an individual learner.
By personalisation we create a customised and unique learning plan for each learner based on their learning styles, learning needs, learning speed, passion, and interests. This level of personalisation allows a child to have access to what they need when they need it.
Project Based Learning (PBL)
Project based learning (PBL) inspires learners to connect their learning in the classroom to its applications in the real world.
Learners are engaged in researching and solving a real world problem, and arrive at a solution using evidence to support their claim, and present the solution by developing a public product or presentation for a real audience.
Flexible Learning Spaces
Campus K is built around a unique floor design that supports and encourages varied styles of teaching (to a large group, to small groups, team-teaching, one-to-one teaching, socratic seminars) and varied types of learning (self-study, project-based, mixed-age learning, etc.).
Campus K is the first school in Chennai to have this type of architecture where curriculum and learning spaces are aligned with each other.
LOGO STORY
The Campus K name and logo, both signify the deep interconnections between the Campus as a space and its purpose of Knowledge. Each is key to the others enrichment. The more nurturing and empowering the space, the more effective is the pursuit of knowledge. The word ‘Campus’ signifies a fertile ground where minds could flourish.
Hence, the ‘K’ in Campus K stands for Knowledge, a gift the child is taught to embrace, nurture and enthusiastically seek. From extensive ‘Project Based Learning’ modules to individual ‘Personalised Learning’, the school extends itself to teach every child the love of learning and the desire to find and fulfil their life’s dream. This means that the school’s academics supports exploration, unbridled curiosity and creative discoveries as part of systemic learning milestones. The need to ensure its implementation also means that Campus K has to offer a multitude of subjects, including ones which are rarely taught in schools with a select curriculum. These innovative and signature processes, which are adept at evolving with the times, give Campus K a great advantage vis-a-vis other schools.
The Campus K logo highlights its versatility as a school that upholds the promise to motivate a child and shape their future as leaders of the world. The logo is both personal and reflects the school’s mission to provide knowledge in a manner that gives equal opportunities to every learner to choose their own path. The K here is as personal as a signature, and as endearingly distinguishable as a flag under which one could vow allegiance to, and confidently venture into the unknown to explore new territories.
The layered symbolism of the logo aligns seamlessly with the exciting new methods adopted by the school and yet it has a vibrant approachability, integrated with the legacy of schools as hubs of education and advancement. The ‘K’ in the logo can therefore, be a window, a visual snapshot, a commentary, a marking, an opinion or even an identity as diverse as the universe itself, but one which is still united in its existential space.
‘Unity in Diversity’ is vividly echoed in the geometric shape which brings the simplistic ingenuity of the Campus K environment and honours the values behind the original conception of this school.
